The 2018 Winter Olympics has caught everyone's attention this month. With many exciting record breaking events to watch, I have barely had time to sit down and contemplate the history of the winter games. Nevertheless, there are a few questions that have popped into my head while watching my favorite athletes compete for gold medals. When was the first Winter Olympics and where was it held? The first Winter Olympics opened on January 25, 1924 in Chamonix, France. Sixteen nations participated with a total of 258 athletes taking part in the games. Developing an individualized research plan helps alleviate frustration, confusion, and disorganization.  Research should not be a negative experience, and figuring out what methods work best for you will dramatically increase your ability to have a positive experience.
